The NYLE is a 50-question, multiple-choice, open-book, online exam. Each of the subjects covered in the NYLC will be tested on the NYLE. The NYLE may be completed up to one year prior to or within three years after taking the NY Bar Exam. Applicants must score at least 30 out of 50 questions (60%) to pass the exam.On Wednesday, applicants will take the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), which is a six‐hour, 200 question multiple‐choice exam divided into two three‐hour sessions. The schedule for the UBE in New York is as follows: Tuesday: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Wednesday: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
