Sometimes simplicity is best. Hoosiers doesn't take risks, but what keeps it so watchable is it's dedication to the love of the game. That, and two excellent lead performances by Hackman and Hopper. Hopper in particular is amazing. I won't lie, I was swept into the drama hook line and stinker.
