I'd worry about weld distortion and keeping the belt contact surface as designed, but given the price I'd consider giving it a shot. After about 2 minutes to warm up the engine, it runs much better. I changed the main fuel filter, both spark plugs, changed the oil and filter but this did not help. The old plugs were black as if the engine is running too rich.My wife can't drive it because she doesn't like getting stuck in gear. It went to the original dealer twice to correct the issue, they replaced the clutch and belt. Between the side of the shop and the back, I stopped and could not shift. They just wasted time, and 1200 towing miles, jumping to conclusions.

However, if you are in Neutral, and the clutch is spinning fast enough to engage it, then yes it will turn the belt. Ideally, the belt should NOT be turning at idle.
