From my experience with deer mounts, the previous few I have had done have been on Mckenzie deer forms. This past year I went to a different taxidermist and I went with a Joe Meder form; I feel the forms make the mounts IMO. The Joe Meder forms will be what your question is asking; more for a Midwest whitetail in the rut.

I have used McKenzie and Trufitt moose forms and have liked them both. Mckenzie has a couple different styles. I like the ones that have the waddle (bell) as part of the form the best. Trufitt moose forms have more leg on the form than the Mckenzie forms do, which I like better.
