Don't fight the guy until your level 50, as that's the recommended mission level. If you can, try to get the help of a good Zer0 player. Zer0 if used correctly, can kill this boss in a single shot. Hyperius is a raid boss, so they're not designed to be solo'd against normally. Not saying its impossible, but its very hard.It is a percentage increase of a percentage elemental effect chance. Since you are using SMGs a high chance to ignite or whatever might be 20%. Even with flicker maxed at 5 for a 30% increase, takes it up to only 26% 5 skill points is a high price to pay to go from 1 out of 5 to basically one out of 4 elemental effect chance in my opinion.This is my maya build. Legendary siren, legendary cat, blurred trickster with +6 chain reaction and +5 kinetic reflection, and a breakneck banshee with +6 fleet and +5 immolate.I feel like either anarchy Gaige or grog nozzle +whatever salvador is the best for soloing. 400+ stacks of anarchy is more than enough to kill anything in the game, and the grog nozzle makes Salvador very very hard to kill due to ridiculous health regen.
