Going to a 3.42 or 3.55 you would see a notiecable change. Personally with a heavy 1970 chevelle and a 355 sbc I wouldnt go any higher than a 3.55.

The Dynomax fit good, just tight getting to the oil filter with my kickout oil pan. The Hedmans fit best of all 3.
