Hey guys, my first post and first FAL. Was hoping it would have been on a more positive note but I have some issues and need some direction. I recently purchased an Armscorp T48 L1A1 build. Everything I read before I bought the rifle was positive on this builder/receiver but it looks like it’s either worn out or wasn’t assembled properly.There are 2 unusual ones worth noting, - Top row, 4th from left: early design, straight retaining lips on bottom, no stake mark visible on rear spine, no indent at rear for removing floor plate. - 2nd row, green painted: early design, straight retaining lips on bottom; unmarked floor plate with large oval pressing.I also noticedthat where the tiny screw stoppedthe L1a1 flash hider. The key hole lined up perfectly with the slot, so even if I remove the tiny screw the key and the key hole would be misaligned! Obviously at this point I was done, and questioned if I had a utterly unique l1a1 Flash hider that only fit a select few rifles, or I'm just ignorant ...The DSA clone may be as close as you can get. If 2K is the actual retail price spend a couple hundred more for Flypaper wood and give it a finish closer to an original G series and sell of the DSA wood to someone who likes more bling. I think the the DSA retail price may be closer to $2600+ on rollout.The only military armorer's manuals that are readily available is the Austalian SLR manual and plus the supplement.
