My last wheeling trip I started smelling oil, after a few hours I had smoke coming up through my hood vents. Looks like the seals between the heat exchanger and main body. Blend door actuator for sure for the no-heat-in-the-cabin deal, but the engine overheating seems far out for that. maybe a clogged heater core (might impede flow) Im dealing with no heat in cabin right now, except on the highest setting. I read the forum and replaced everything that I could find that would be causing the issue. Fan, radiator (went moshimoto), radiator tubes, thermostat (replaced with ripp), water pump, coolant, air filter, sc oil, engine oil.Low on power and running rough after warming up. When I’m driving about 70MPH my jeep overheats. I can drive around town all day and go 55-60 on the highway with no problems (temperature stays just about 210, just under 210 is normal for a Jeep, so a little hotter than normal but will never overheat.)
