I found the spec overall to be a nice dps increase to the boss and for it to hit pretty consistently. Crystal Bow + Armour for around 800 kills at Hydra averaged around 2:15-30 kills. (97-99 Range w/ Eagle Eye). Used it as a range switch for Zulrah and it felt better than Msb (i) w/ Rune arrows and RCB w/ Runite Bolts. Also did pretty decently during Olms Head phase, but was terrible at Vassa and Inaccurate at Ice Demon.

Once you have bowfa you can pretty much do everything in the game. Also everything you were doing before, becomes so much easier with it since it shreds. For instance, with trident and rcb or a kbow I would get to zulrah's jad phase 9/10 times. You really dont need bowfa for zulrah. you should generally just not use range until you have bowfa it's that much better than every other range item. but yeah, sure. you absolutely do not need it, people killed zulrah till pipe with regular trident and an msb for years.
